What are your morning rituals? What does the first hour of your day look like?
Happy Tuesday! Today’s prompt is asking about morning routines and what they look like during the first hour of your day.
Every morning, my alarm goes off at 4:50am. Most days I’m good about getting up as soon as it goes off, but there are some days where I don’t make it out of bed until 5:15. It just depends on the quality of sleep I got the night before.
Once I get up, I get a quick shower and get dressed for the day. Ill make sure my kids are up and dressed and that their chores are done. I take my dog out to use the bathroom and if I have any extra time during that first hour, I’ll unload the dishwasher and scoop the litter.
I will then load the car up with backpacks and anything else that needs to make it out of the house with us, then we are off to school! That first hour goes by so quickly, but it’s usually productive which is a great way to start the day.
