We went to the Champions Of Magic Tour!
My oldest’s son’s birthday was this month, and this magic show worked out perfectly as part of his birthday surprise! The Champions of Magic – The Worldwide Wonders Tour was absolutely amazing! If you are a fan of magic or you have kids who are magic lovers, this show is a must-see! It is a family-friendly event.

The show is loud, bright, fun, hilariously funny and 100% unique. I have never attended a magic show before, and this did not disappoint. All of the magicians had amazing backstories they shared about why they wanted to become a magician and how it has changed their lives. All of this magic was happening right before our eyes – and if you weren’t a believer before this may actually change that for you! My husband really enjoyed the mind reading. I loved the illusionists and both of my kids enjoyed the death-defying escapes. My birthday boy expressed that this was the best birthday gift he has ever received. That is more than enough to warm my heart. There is nothing like watching the magical effect of happiness on your children’s faces during something you hand-selected for them. The tickets are affordable and they do have an intermission with a snack bar and merchandise stand to grab some magical swag.

What do you wish you could do more every day?
This is an interesting question because I haven’t actually thought about it. We always say how we wish there were more hours in a day, 24 hours just aren’t enough, etc. I say it all the time, but I never really think about what I would do with more hours aside from actually get my daily to-do list fully done.
I wish I had more time to sit down and read for a few hours every day. I used to be an avid reader. When I was younger, I read all the books my house had – sometimes twice. We had a “library room” filled with bookshelves and books.
I even run a book review Instagram account, but it’s been neglected for a while because life is just so busy! I am a mom and wife and we are always on the go. I am a SAHM and spend most of my days cleaning house, meal planning, playing taxi for all of our scheduled appointments and events, etc. I end up feeling guilty if I sit down and read instead of catching up on laundry or scooping the litter or cleaning the bathrooms.
I think we live in a society where the idea of never slowing down is glorified because we have to be “boss babes” all the time – but we really need to try and slow down and rest. Pick up a good book and get lost in it for a while. If I had more time, I would do that daily. I suppose making time to do it at least twice a week will have to be enough for now. 😊
